next Mt Cotton Hillclimb is on this Sunday if anyone is interested in coming out for a look at Andrew's coupe.

Mt Cotton Hillclimb is located next to the driver training centre - ie don't turn into the driver training centre like I did the first time I went out there ;) Turn up Gramzow Rd off Mt Cotton Rd - its about 300m of smooth dirt road into the hillclimb venue.

It's free to come and watch, and you can walk around the pits and have a look at all the cars.

Competiton starts at 8:30am and normally runs to around 4pm.

Should be a pretty good turnout of fast cars - its the last hillclimb before the Australian Hillclimb Championships in November. If you've never been to a hillclimb, its worth stopping by to watch the open wheelers - they're just awesome to watch at such a tight track. And you can see pretty much the whole track from the spectator area too.

There's normally a few other Dattos too, including a 2.4l grunter powered 1600, an SR20 1600, and an L20 1600.

This will be my second event in the car and I'm hoping to improve on the 46.86 I ran last time. My goal for this one is to beat my PB set in the GTR at 46.2, but that won't be easy! The car definitely has the potential but its not easy to put all that power down in those 2nd gear corners!

I second Harrys motion,if any of you Brissy or goldie coast guys have any aspirations for competition now or in the future(normal street cars are catered for)get yourselves up there for some free entertainment and good cheap food.
Rob Jnr. is having a run in the B10 for the first time in over 2 years.
Should be a good day.Cheers Bert
