I doubt you'd get one for Dizzy or waterpump.

I believe some sort of Chevy plate fits the fuel pump though - Dodgeman had one.

have a look through his photos.

Yeak i know guys. Its not hard at all, but I was hoping that if a pre cut one was available, it would look much neater than something that I could make up.

I have asked around, and they all said that I just have to make something up. Not a big deal. Ill make a template this weekend, and get my ass into gear. Ill probally take it to somewhere that has a plasme cutter and get them to cut it perfect, then its just polish up.

Oh yeah, the six pack is a requirement to go into the shed. Nobody goes in with at least an offer of one.

Sounds interesting. Fuel pump blanking fairly common I guess.

What are you doing to replace the water pump and dizzy?

Just take the fuel pump insulating block to use as a template.

When my mate ran a ewp on his XF, he just got the impellor taken out from the water pump and the hole tig welded over.

I have taken the water pump to a laser cut place and they are going to cut some 4mm aliminum to the shape for me, at $30 thats not bad really.

Just one question now, since the original water pump was about 5 mm deep past the face of the pump, will I have any issues with flow restriction now that its blanked off?

I know that the pump blade is now gone, but just want to see what other think.

I guess the biggest restriction in the theromstat anyways, so even with the reduced space, it should still flow as good if not better.

And I decided not to go down the route of pulling out the pump and shaft and tig welding the hole as the reason i am doing this it make more room in front of the room for radiators and intercoolers etc. The pup extends past the crank pully, so it had to go.

I might still have a go myself hacking up an old pump to see what it will look like.\
