i bought a steering colum bush from genuine dealer , took out mine whitch is threaded in , the new one looks as if it just pushes in , is this correct ,have they updated them or have they given me the wrong one

There are two types, I did the same as you and bought the later one, I just trimmed it down a bit then pushed it into the old threaded part and screwed that in.

Do a search there was a thread about this a while back.

you can still get the threaded type. I bought one just a couple of months ago. take it back.
