I got a tin of contact adhesive from Supercheap.

It was a yellow tin with an eagle on the front (can't remember the name).

I had doubts but it sticks like the proverbial to a blanket!

When I replaced all my datto's rubbers, I got a special superglue from the rubbershop to glue the rubbers with. They are waterresistant and I use it to glue everything as it seems to be stronger than the normal superglue.

Just get in contact with one of the shops there where you live that sells automotive rubbers for the doors and windows, etc.
They should have these special superglue for relatively cheap.

yerr get the rubber glue to glue the rubber onto the car, and use superglue to join the rubber seal together.

There is a 3M product that is $50 / 100ml tube

But the tin of red stuff from spectrum rubber at Dunheved (st marys) in sydney is great too.

Most glues are crap, both of these are great.

Interesting idea ... "Shoe Goo" is good stuff.

The 3M glue is designed for the purpose and is clear if I recall correctly. The original Nissan glue is black (wasn't it?) and makes a mess if spread around too much.

Thanks for the tips guys...

Ended up going with the yellow can with the eagle on it from supercheap...

Bargain price and bonded quickly.

we'll see about durability tho...
