How do i get the rocker covers from my CA to shine

i have the rocker covers off my CA and have stripped them back to bare metal to paint but thinking i might polish them, whats the best way to do this? would i have to get them done profesionally?

if you want your rocker covers to shine all you need to do is buff the covers on a bench grinders buffing whell with plenty of polish on the wheel ,, will go all black but then you rub back with paint thinners on a rag,, looks really nice aswell

now all i need is a bench grinder, i tryed usin this stuff you put in a drill but didnt realy work, ill have to hunt down a bench grinder. also what is a good polish to use and were could i get some, just a hardware store?

we get our polish from blackwoods, it comes in a hard white ingot shaped chunk.
you can get it from autobarn in a not so big chunk too.
get the polish wheel going and apply stick to spinning wheel, then apply your job.

i think i got some of that it came with the small polishing kit i got, the actual wheels arent strong enough but the polish might work. cheers guys

this is wat i do .....................
go to mums cubord :) grab the dish washing fuild and a old sliver steal fuzy scruber thing 1 bucket of water and mix in the dish washing fuild and dip in the fuzy steal scruber and rub the #### out of the alloy it works well and its free

if its the same polishing kit i have with a white chunk, and a grey coarse chunk, its the same stuff. works fantastically.

the polish might work but the actual wheels that go on the drill are pretty average
