need help a10 engine

does anyone out there know if there is a spacer or somthing in-between an a10 engine and the gearbox, i am currently trying to put the gearbox back on but doesent seem to want to go on...

yer its the standard a10 box i just managed to get it on but the clutch is now not working,,, when i go to pull it its really hard,,

Pull it out and start again,something is not right.This might sound dumb,but make sure the thrust bearing carrier and bearing and fork are all on the right way and also the clutch plate.Sillier things have been known to happen.If your lining up dowels in the block are nice and clean it should fall together.
