I would like to ask who has or knows the best way to install a Gemini Radiator?.
I was just going to make some custom brackets and re use the factory holes. but i then noticed the hole for the air flow is smaller than the size of the new radiator ?
if i cut the front to let max air flow, then i loose the factory radiator holes.

I under stand i will need to cut something out to allow for my small-ish intercooler, but i dont want to hack the whole front if i dont have too. any suggestions please before i do the surgery ??

can you just sit the gemmi rad in where you want it. Mark where the holes are on the rad. Then drill holes and nut and bolt the rad in and neatly cut out where nesisary?

Day light savings has mucked me about this weekend!!! Yea i lined up the radiator, but the support isnt flush with the rest of the front end. it flares out to the size of the standard 1200 radiator. looks like i will have to make up some Z shape brackets to bolt it on.
Im shore there are a few 1200's with Gemini radiators around ???

just drill 4 wholes and some threaded rod with washers and bolts to space it out, other wise c brackets to space it out and keep it flush with flared out part

I have a gemini radiator in mine. I marked & drilled out the holes & used 25mm box steel cut to length to space it out, got some long bolts, washers etc... to hold it all in place.

instead of using washers to space it out, go to the local hardware store and get either black or chrome 16mm round tube.
the finished product is a lot nicer than washers, hides most of the bolt and as long as u can measure and cut straight, the rod looks like it is apart of the radiator..

spacing it away with something like threaded rod is just what i was after to allow enough room for the intercooler. (thanks guys) i was also going to trim the side supports of the gemini radiator as they have massive over hang. This should give me a little more room for the intercooler pipeing (my next mod) also can any one suggest any ideas with the radiator hoses? best type to use and any hint/tips.

i used the stock hoses, the top hose is the pain, but rear is pretty easy to slip on.

I cheated and heated the end of the hose in some boiling water then microwaved for 508se so it was plyable.

i used new hoses though.

Dont cook it for more than 8sec or they melt and smell terrible.

I used one of those universal flexi hoses for the top & the bottom one was a early holden hose that is a bit longer than the standard 1200 hose.
