Hey i brought a speedo gauge and it says to wire it i connect it to the ecu. one wire for the speed read out. but my ecu doesnt have an output for it. Was wondering how do i connect it to my ca18det if possible then? any ideas? thanks.

I don't think its easy at all.

You'd have to feed it some kind of pulse coming off the tailshaft or wheel.

You might be able to get away with an inductive sensor like they use on Motec/Haltech or Terratrip computers...

What about the speed sensor on the gearbox? Or is that for something elese? Whats this inductive sensor you mentiond? thanks
