So i have decided to stick with the A series motor and not go to the SR20det. How tough is it to get 150hp out of an A15?

Flywheel horsepower is possible.
Wheel horsepower is gonna be expensive but also possible.

150 ponies at the flywheel is a fairly big project.

I am aiming for 130hp at the flywheel with my a15, I i think that is fairly keen. To get the a15 to hit that NA is big bucks, but turboed is within reasonable reach.

In saying that, keep us posted on what yo end up doing.

I think 150 HP would be doable with a $4000 budget, speak to one of the specialists like Stewart Wilkins or Jeff Taylor.

Put it in, I'm keen to hear what you think.

When you pull up at the lights with that little A series under the hood, next to some knuckle head in a V8 and he wants to go, your heart starts to race and your palms get sweaty, but when your pulling away in third you cant get the smile off your face.

I lunched a Monaro CV8R with that motor, when they were brand new, I didnt even know they did an "R", it was priceless.
