Just out Top gear s10 e07 (25th nov)

The boys have to buy British Leyland cars and one of the tests is to beat a hot lap set by the stig in a 120y sedan.

Not at the usual track though.

The 'Rubbish' British Leyland Cars' Lap Times:

Jeremy
Rover SD1: 1.12
Richard
Triumph Dolomite Sprint: 1.16
James
Austin Princess: time not disclosed because James got lost on the track and Jeremy didn't want to embarrass the whole country by revealing the time.

Stig's Lap Time:

Datsun 120Y: 1.11

ahhh love it

the so called 'jap crap' still beat the homegrown british cars.

Go tha datto! if they had used a 1k, then the lap times would have been under a minute I reckon!
