ok i was playing around with my engine this arvo trying to get it started and it seems that my fuel pump isn't pumping into the carbie... the pump works fine just i think the finger thingy on the pump isn't long enough to reach the cam.. had on old one on my old engine and that works fine even switchd it over.. so don't know if i need a new fuel pump...??

disconnect the fuel hose and pop it in a bottle, turn the key and you'll know if its pumping fuel. just be heaps carful with fuel mate, but sound like to me you need to block off that manual fuel pump hole and get a electronic pump.

Also check the fuel filter isnt restricting
