is there any differance between a vanette 1500 and one say out of a sunny etc .

I think that the water neck that feed the bottom hose of the radiator is longer. Other that that there is no diference. You will need to bolt on the car engine mount brackets though.

and obveously you will need a gearbox aswell as the vanettes are column shift

Some vannettes have a different style thermostat housing. (Same as a cherry) But otherwise they fully same as the cars.
