Im after a 3 speed auto gearbox to fit a 2.8 chev buick motor to go in my datsun 1200 ute. Anyone have any ideas as to what type of box i would need?

No probs, Welcome to the Datto 1200 site! You may have some drama,s doing that auto box mate, the datto tunnel is pretty small.. Talk to whats his name who run,s the mechanic,s shop on the way to Forest Hill,Damn can,t think of his name!! he,s got a ute skid car with a commie donk & box goes awesome hard!! Loves his little Datto,s got a heap of them.. I,ll edit this when I remember his name. He might be able to tell you where to get a box from also. Cheers Steve

Ok about 4K from Gatton heading towards Brisbane there,s a antique type shop it,s actually the Forest Hill, Glenore Grove intersection, Turn right there go about 2.5 -3k you will see a workshop on left hand side. That,s the place I,m talk,n about. You should see a bunch of cars all around the place..
