thats nice, but for that money you could buy everything in parts and put a faster stronger better looking car easily. call him and tell him he mighta added an extra '0' by accident. not worth it

If you do the sums, it probably owes more than that.
If you read the add it has a lot a mods, more than just basic mods for sure.
Workshops are charging anywhere up to 15 grand or more to do a conversion.
So if you add the initial purchase price, plus the paint, brakes, interior, wheels, plus the ecu and the engine mods, tailshaft, diff ect, ect, ect, it adds up to more than 25 grand.
This car doesn't look like some piece of crap that someone has put a sad paint job on, and done a dodgey interior re-do with supercheap vinyl spray. Its been built professionally, and that comes at a price.
Someone may not be prepared to buy it for 25g but it would cost that to build, at least.
car- 3-5 grand for a reasonable one
paint plus body mods- 5-10 grand
Diff and tail shaft- ~2grand
Front cut- 3000~
Aftermarket ecu- 1500
Dyno tuning - $$$?
exhaust- 1000
interior- 1000
wheels- 1000-2000
conversion- 3000? or more
Plus many more incidentals that add up as you go, and probably lots of other stuff i haven't mentioned.
Then on top of that all the time and effort involved in building a car.
I dont think the price is rude, he/she may not get that, but it sure would have cost that much or more to build unless they bought everything dirt cheap and did all the work themselves.

Oh and one more thing. Myaz, you sure could buy it all in pieces for a lot less, but all you would have is a pile of parts filling your garage/shed and a large amount of work ahead of you. It would be great if you could do the work yourself, but this car is done, get in it and drive to the track and pull a high 12 pass.

Its nice, but I agree that its not worth that much...

Agree with somewhere around perthute's figure

EDIT:

You never get back what you put in, the guy that I bought mine off, put almost double what I paid for it into it. I think that he will get what he is after for it, it just might be a long wait...

I remember this ute being at summernats a couple of years ago, it looked like a top quality build. The only utes I have seen and would compare it to are the old YAJOKN and the citric acid yellow one that was on here for sale a while back. Both of them were Around $20k IIRC.

for wat i see with cars its add up all the $$$ and half it , unless its been done up to orginal specs and it helps if its a colt car lol

most people that are in to high mod cars like to build them as its there own eg built not brought

and there ant a real big market, he could get 20 grand after haveing it for sale for 9 months

look at this and not one bid , i think this looks better do u ?
