in the old B&W photos of the car it had flares. guess its been reshelled at some stage... still a very very cool car for us Sunny fans.

I'm pretty sure its the original shell, but all the other bits have been sourced elsewhere. "Davie" off here used to own it.

Yes, it is my old car. I am more than certian it is not the same car as in the B&W photo's. The car in the photo's is Mehta's 77 car, which I lost track of in 1991, but I knew the where abouts of the, at that stage, two remaining cars, and since one was in Sydney, and the other in Bega at the same time they can't be the same car. I bought the from Eden in 1993 after much haggling and pestering of the guy who had it but all of the gear was gone and spent I seven years traking stuff down.
I have not been able to track the car in the B&W photo's since I lost it in 1991, I think it's probably been destroyed by somebody who didn't know what they had by now.
When I bought my old car I rang a few of the previous owners and tracked the car as to having been bought through Howard Marsdon, the head of Nissan Motorsport in Australia at the time, from Nissan, but to quote that owner "Marsdon had pulled all the good gear out". The car body was fully plated and strengthened as per the works prep manuals, though I don't know if it was in Group 1, 2 or 4 form when it was brought out.
I did speak with Rob, the current owner, about it just after it was advertised. I do know what the price is and the car would be worthi it, he's collected extra gear since he bought the car
If anybody wants any info on the car I'll share what I have, though all the paperwork went with the car
