I know it has been gone over before and once I ask this I am going to get 50 people telling me to use the search bar but If I was to build a blowthrough turbo a15 to run around 10 psi what would be a fairly detailed list of mods and things to buy that I would be looking at. Just so the info is in 1 place rather than scattered around the place as it currently is.

Edit: I just took my own advice and actually had a decent look in the search bar. haha. Amazing what you can find if you actually look

Would a s4/s5 rx7 turbo be a good match for an a15?

I'm running a blow through set up with a 12a Turbo running about 11-12psi and I'm pretty sure that the engine is standardish. it makes good power but I'm going to upgrade the turbo manifold as it looks a bit small and a bit rangi but works.

no the s4/5 is no good as it has an air ratio on the exhaust side thatis way too bigfor a little 1.5l engine. rotaries pump out a massive amount of exhuast gases comparedto a piston engine.

see if you can find a turbo off a vg20, they are variable A/R so they might provide better response and power...

I'd use a mitsibishi TD04, off an 1800cc lancer, or an AIRESEARCH M10 (aka Garrat T2) off an 1800 U11 bluebird. Should be able to find one cheap enough.

hey force your using a weber right? I was just wondering what jets you are running and if I ran with a similar setup for a "base tune" would that be a fairly good starting point for my carb. do supercharging and turbo charging have similar fuel riquirements throughout the rev range?

Edit: also do draw through vs blowthrough have different fuel requirements?
