hey everyone, jst ordered my new t28 for my ca today bit excited so i thought id tell u guys.
after 2 years of building i had it going for 2 hours and well that was it, i was near in tears, the bearings went and demolished the wheels in the turbo and blew oil all through my intercooler ect,damm rebuilt rubbish... so needless to say im back in the waiting game again, joys of a modified car hey haha, just a quick question what kind of power are ppl making with a t28 and lightly modified ca? 150kw ish? 200 ??

bad news about the turbo.


I wouldn't count on over 125kW, but also 160kW is not out of the question with aftermarket/remapped ECU.

My CA18 with good everything pulled about 188kW@12psi at 6000 rpm.

Just don't get caught up on numbers, it should break traction all through 2nd if you have enough power. And that's not dropping the clutch either. If it can break traction through third..you are really running some serious power.

Or it's been raining and you have ####ty tires.

I had 128KW @ wheels with stock engine, running 9psi with big cooler and 2.5 inch exhaust.

I fitted bigger injectors, rising rate reg. and high flowed T25, lifted boost to 12psi and noticed a big difference. 140-150kw Approx.

As dattodude said, easy spin wheels through second.

i have just under 175kw with a ct26 high flowed , intercooler , injectors , 500hp fuel pump , e-manage computer , malpassi rising rate reg , 3'' mandrell highflow exhaust , 3 stage boost controler..... with the boost set on 7psi its easy to drive. i have taken it up to 16.8psi and it becomes almost scarry............. one of my mates wont get in the passengers seat any more.. last time he did i hit 16psi stepped sideways and blew the diff !!!! but man it was so much fun.................................
