I finally figured out the poor performance of my sss was due to two blocked accelerator pump jets on my Dellortos. So I put them in a bag, bungeed it to the back of my Yamaha and headed for the carb shop - 35 kms away. Got there, got off the bike, and the bag was gone - dropped off somewhere along the route. I can only hope whoever finds them has as much trouble with them as I've had. If anyone in NZ (Chch) has a carb and inlet manifold for sale, please PM me.

Lets see if I understand this,

You drop a bag with a pair of Dellortos in it somewhere on the road, but you dont know where.

And you think whoever finds this bag deserves to get run over by a cement truck?

did you ride back the same route and see if you could find them? They prob fell off when you took off on your driveway

You live out in the wop wops aye? Did you do the full retrace? Does your motor have extractors? I think I have an inlet manifold, but the hotbox flange has been hacksawed to clear extrators.

I checked the whole route out twice. For the record, my wishing ill fortune on the finder was a joke. I don't hope he gets hit by a cement truck at all. It's a FREIGHT TRAIN he deserves! And all you guys should know this --- twin sidedraught Dellortos, even crook ones, are worth more than any man's life!
