is it for racing or just the street? if it was for racing and the rules of the class said only so much I'd probly go with the L16 even though I'd want the L18, if it was just for street I would think about parts availability and choose the L16 since most of the 1600 boys get rid of thiers in favour of the larger L series motors.

Its for street use...daily driver...and your ocasional track day...but nothing farfetched...hmmm...L16 it is then...it was my favourite...and i guess its a bit more light...althought less torque right? thanks...peace...

L16 is not lighter, but has less HP and less torque. Your choice...

Since what i've seen, both have 110hp stock...at least that is what factory says...probably at the flywheel...but the L18sss does have more torque...more CC=more torque...but i'll get the L16SSS for a cheaper price...
