hi has any of you guys come accross where the disc rear's locking up,

as theres no weight in 1200 ute's to keep it from doing so.....

Never had a 1200 do it - but our old work van used to lock up the rears before the front - great fun in the wet!!

Sounds like you need a brake bias valve?

My VL front calipers and the rear VL calipers aren't biased properly using the 180B master. I had to restrict the pressure to the back with a Wilwood bias valve.

Once adjusted, it made an unbelievable difference to the car's stability under brakes.

I originally tested/adjusted mine in the dry. I think I might still need to fine tune them, somewhere other than in the driveway. After a few sustained stops, need to check the fronts are still locking up first.
