So I presume the 1200 ute, 1200 sedan and 1200 coupe use the same one and are interchangable?

How difficult is it to replace the whole steering column and steering box assembly?
Just curious for when the ajustment screw is so far ajusted that the whole thing need to be replaced. the 1400 bakkie parts are available everywhere here in ZA. So parts are not a problem.

well u just undo the bolt that joins the control arms.. then undo the 4bolts under the dash

hmm remove the rubber from the firewall.. and yeh. take steering wheel and all that gear off..

then slide it out into the engine bay.. might have to undo the cross member.. i had to with the ca18det.. so dnt no bout a12

i was told the other day that you can use a stanza box aswell cos they have better ratios
