lowering a 1000?

hey guys,
does anyone know how easy lowering a 1000 is? or even if i should? had i look under it and the front leafs look a bit tricky. any advise would be much appreciated.

Piece of cake.
The transverse leaf sits on rubber blocks on each side in the lower control arm.
Pull em out and cut them down to your required height and replace,you can also cold bend the lower leaf at the end(straighten)where it sits on the rubber to get some more out of it.
This is the simple way

or pull it out and flatten the springs via placing a couple of the heavy duty spring on the bottom i will try get pics of how i done it on my rear but its the same as the front which i need to do sometime soon....
