Hi guys
Finally getting my A15 back together complete with JTS head, webers and headers and am after some thoughts on what exhaust to run. The ute does mainly motorkhanas and will be doing sprint meetings and other club stuff. It will be on the road occasionally.Should I be running a 2 or 2.5'' exhaust and what sort of muffler/s should i be running ?
Thanks
Bob

For performance, the size depends on this: how much HP is the JTS engine supposed to make?
<-- Click 'wiki' linky, search for Exhaust Piping

For best fuel economy and low-speed running, fit 1/4 inch smaller pipe than max HP calls for for.

For looks, use any size pipe you want. Stock A15s use 1.5" pipe, some have fitted up to 2.5" pipe.

Mine flowed really well. It was a 2 1/2 inch mild steel with a low back pressure sports muffler to keep it a tick under 95dba. It was a racecar. I also used JTS headers.
If you dealing with Jeff he will tell you just to goto Andy at Penrith Muffler Man and they will put a great system on for around $300.

Thanks Converted.
The end of the header is 2" so would I be wasting my time with a bigger exhaust be cause of this restriction or do we cut header off at the collector where we can make it 2 1/2" all the way through?
Thanks
Bob
