Hi im just wondering would a stumpy gearbox adapt to an a12 as im looking at putting a 5 speed in my ute soon plus a few months down the track im going 2 put either a ca18de or sr20 de in my ute any help or advice is appreciated THANX Appsy1

A stumpy box will not mate to an A-series unless you cut n shut an l series bellhousing to an A series one with a TIG welder.

Hoever, a stumpy box can (with little stuffing about) mate to the CA and the SR

better check on the engineering side of your engine swop as i have heard that they are stopping alot of engine swops.
