Does anybody have a Vanette 5 speed they want to part with cheap?

I didnt know such a gearbox existed, but if it did, like any A series 5 speed it wouldnt be cheap.

Ive never seen one in the flesh, but i have seen a picture someone once claimed to be a vanette 5 speed.
It looke d about right, but i suspect they would be very uncommon and would not be sold 'cheap', unless you are very lucky.

Steve (steve's spares) has/had a couple of 60-series vanette 5speeds. They have linkages for column shift so are only good for parts.

Ive seen quite a few around and for very cheap. For the reason Tyrie said. They have a side linkage gear selector rather than a gearstick. Wouldn't be easy to make up a linkage setup either.

I want to suss out how I can make an old school style of shifter and mount it into my 120Y panelvan. It's more of an experiment to see if I can make an impala style of shifter. Rat style.
