I wasn't sure wheather this was an off topic subject or not so I thought I had better put it in here just in case
I have my car between painters at the moment, and the first guy said he could just colour match it from the engine bay (was sprayed by previous owner), but the new guy has asked if I can find out the name of the colour or the code for it.
It is a green from the Mazda 121, the little bubble cars. I will try to find a pic of one on the net and put it up here so you know what colour I mean.

Can I go to a mazda dealer to find out? Will they have info of 10-15 year old cars?

The mazda dealer will definitely have the information you want, or even look on the net, there's plenty of random info like that available.
