hey guys got a lil 1000 ute and i got a grill of a 2 door i think but funny enough it seems too wide by a few inches. what grills can i use or do i have to change somthing else

has far has i know the grills are interchangeable . do you have a 1200 grill ???????????

All grills are interchangeable. Utes and early cars have different headlight surrounds though. You cant mix and match.

Pretty much all of the 1000 grilles are interchangeable as grille & headlight surround assemblies.

There were two ute grilles.
1968 model. [Dec 1967 to Sept 1968]
1969 & 70 model [Oct 1968 to June 1969, then July '69 to Dec '69]

Three grilles for all Sedans & Vans.
1967 model [Sept 1966 to Sept 1967]
1968 model [Oct 1967 to Sept '68]
1969 & '70 models [Oct 1968 to June '69, then July '69 to Dec. '69]

One grille for coupes.
1969 & 70 models. There appear to be two vendors & there are structural differences, but visually & dimensionally the same.

Two headlight trims for B10 models
The 1967 B10 headlight rim was a full ring, was alloy & unique to the '67 [2 door sedan & van]
The headlight rim that was introduced in Oct 1967 was used on all B10 versions after that.

One [possibly two] headlight trims for utes [B20]
The 1968 ute [B20] headlight rim was also a full ring, but was steel & painted a dull gray.
I do not know if it is visually identical with the alloy car one or not.

I do not know if the 1969/70 model ute [B20] headlight rim was the same as the earlier one, but it could well be.
