Try DUBBO DIFF & DRIVELINE, fitzroy st north dubbo, 0268820242....Example: they quoted me for a R31 skyline shorten to suit 1200 ute $800,
There been around for about 40 years or more, www.dubbodiff.com.au

yeah i can vouch for dubbo diff and drive line i work in a local performance shop, and we send all of our 9" ford diffs there as well as all of our tailshafts and other bits. i dont know about the price but to shorten the r31 diff but i think thats bloody cheap.

so its a ute diff with disks?

will have trouble with axles unless you get some bluebird ones or some h190 axles(as they are going to be big enough in the undersized part to respline anyway)

would most likely be bluebird ones, so will go back onto the bluebird h165 or h190 axles

but yeah, to much undersize on the ute axles to respline them

housing is a piece of piss to shorten as the end is just pressed in and welded...so easy to cut off and relocate

$800? Damn. When i was looking into it last year my trade price was $550! That was for a BG.

Just put some flares on the 1000, they arnt THAT much longer. or run gay offset rims.

Yeah well you said it Chris TRADE PRICE!

I got my r31 diff housing and axles cut down to suit a 1000 for $800 at Final Drive.

That was housing cut down, both axles cut down and resplined, all aligned, and leaf perches made and welded on.

So $800 is about right.
