I am thinking about a build using a high compression A15 and tuned SU carbs to run E85 ethanol on the street. We can buy E85 at the pump here now and the "octane" equivalence is very high - I might be able to build a fire breathing A15 with great MPG. Let me know if you have anything that would fit the build.

I have what you are looking for. Make me a rediculous offer, and maybe I will let them go. Seen a set go for $500+ US on ebay. I dont really want to sell but....

I have two different styles of headers, although neither header will work with the Hitachi SU's.

carbs needles and seats dont really like ethanol or ethanol blends here in aus, also replace all your origianl rubber lines as ethanol sitting in them can make them deterirate from the inside tooutside and send all the particles into your carbs and block your fuel filter

Gotta keep your fuel tank sealed, meaning the emission controls working well. Any moisture gets in the tank, then the ethanol starts eating away at metal parts.

Yes, Octane is good. Power is done. So if you use high compression pistons you'll get the power back from E85 fuel.
