Not sure with 1000's but maybe Sun-bright red? #932

Does it have a dupont sticker in the enginebay?

or the colour code could be on the model plate.

its been painted on the outside but going by the original paint in the engine bay i would say it looks a darker maroon. is his car the original colour? have you seen the colour of the ebbro model? or is that different cause its a 2dr sedan/ clickme the sunny 1000 red at the bottom of the nissan page!

The red on the ebbro model is more like what I have seen on 1000's, as for his car being original colour I wouldn't know unfortunately.
