Hey guys, I need to replace my lower ball joints & some tie rod ends in my 1200 B120 ute but when I took them out it looks like a previous owner has done some modding & the lower ball joint on the drivers side is bigger (as in bolt sizes, bolt centres & king pin size) than the passenger side (which I'm pretty sure is standard) :-/ which would mean the lower control arm, radius arm, steering arm are not standard aswell?

So I guess what I need at the moment is to work out what the ball joint came off so I can replace it. I left the old one at repco this morning for the guy to work out what its off so I cant post any pics or give much of a description but the things I did notice was:

*looked very similar to the standard one, just larger.
*the hole centres between the wider mounting bolts is 49mm.
*& the king pin thread dia is 13mm.

Does anyone have any ideas what it might be off? maybe stanza or 180B? any input would be appreciated.

I'll posts some pics later.

thanks
Tez

EDIT:
woohoo, found some pics I took last night!

this is a shot of the joint in question.

my guess is one side has the early strut and lca, and the larger side is the later 1200 ute strut and balljoint. possible due to some accident damage and wrecker replacement parts being used.
