The main thing is I've had it almost 12 months and only used it 5 times - 3 MtCotton Hillclimbs, 1 Grafton Hillclimb, and one sprint at QR. I haven't used it at all since I bought the Supra late last year. So I think I'd be better off with the money than the car.

And I have too many cars anyway - Patrol, Supra, 1200 coupe, 120Y... The Supra may be going soon too.

Yeah,i suppose....the current economy is'nt helping the motor sport cause either,a lot of the guys i know are starting to pull thier heads in anyway, the cost to get anywhere is starting to hurt.
Going to Stanthorpe next weekend will cost me over $140.00 in fuel just to get there and back and thats before i turn a wheel in anger.
Good luck with it mate,it's a top little car and worth every cent to anyone who's fair dinkum

Got a bit suspicious when you started working on the 120Y there Harry. Would love to take this off you're hands, maybe if i win one of those lotto style games. Hope the new owner understands the history of this car, & doesn't just cut it up or run it into the ground.

Would it be possible to get a late model Nissan Micra, fit the 1.8 litre motor from a Tiida & then turbocharged it? Your answer must include parts numbers for the conversion. You have 12 months. Commence.

good luck with the sale Harry, that car is lethal in the right hands.....and Im a mere mortal too. When I drove it I felt like I got shot out of a cannon. She is one very special car.
It seems like the old guard is falling away mate
These are special motorcars, I would love to have a really nice 1200 road car they are that great. Hard to justify though when you can buy a Twin Turbo or quad cam V8 Soarer for 5k...

Good luck with the sale, hope it ends up with someone who will look after it and appreciate the hard work that has been put in. Some of those pics of this car are glorious.

updated first post - priced to sell now!
$15,000

will throw in the laptop with all the software and I think it has the old AvGas 1.5bar tune saved on it.

here's some current pics from 11/10/2008 at Lakeside. This was the first time I've driven it since last November and it got called off after 1 run because of too many people crashing. That's why its for sale. I simply don't get the time to use it.

...an awesome car - the ultimate goal of mine is to get to where this car is already!

A steal really - I really hope one of the 1200.com gang buy this and keep it in the family (just like when ca18det_man sold it)....unless he wants to buy it back?
