just a warning these are not DOT approved - they will void 3rd party insurance and your normal insurance,

If your using them for the track they are ace! a superlightweight version of the normal superlights they'll shave those unnesesary kilos off your unsprung wieght and they look mean in black!!!

Anyone would think i sell the things......oh wait i do. these are a bargain almost cost price!

As for not DOT = not legal. I care to differ.

At least in Victoria:

VicRoad Bulletin

Vicroads VSU08.pdf

Alloy Wheels
The Wheels and Tyres section of VSI 26 refers
to VSI 8 which requires aluminium alloy wheels
to comply with Australian Standard AS 1638

He did tell me they were rated to 325kg each corner as they are lighter than normal superlights, he said they are road legal for most smaller cars, just don't try throw your R31 over kerbs with these things.

'It's Watanabe'

And your point?

These aren't normal superlights, what crappy burnout tyres are you getting from boostworks for that money? A good set of tyres nearly costs that alone. I thought legally you could only increase wheel size by 2inches anyway.

Remember Function over fashion!

Oh well pardon me! They may not be watanabe's but they certainly look like them. Minor differences aside. Either way they look great and they are reasonably cheap for new rims.

Poor Sean/Whitesedan, he's forever correcting people on the spelling of Watanabe's.

So would these handle a decent belting? PNG has humongous potholes that cause some serious damage to datsuns and the little car alike (when you do hit one and it is hard not to). I would go for something like this but I would'nt be so happy if they failed.
