Snap-off steering wheel boss?
We have collapsible types here, but nothing that is designed to snap-off as this would leave you with a 'spearing' column.
The popular 'Autotechnica' steering wheel boss has the collapsable feature & they are still available for the 1200.

Many 1200's come with a collapsible steering column too, but not all markets got it. Australia was one of the lucky ones that has them, so we can get a double layer of protection with an Autotechnica collapsible boss.

Speedway cars have the snap off type you are asking about. They have a pin behind them that you putt out and it comes away, and yes it does leave a spear, but then again the ole 1k isnt much better in that department;)

My brother uses one, ill email him tonight and ask him where they come from, but that will be an aussie supplier.

You could try a local speedway parts mob?

Are there many local speedway parts mobs on Oslo Norway?

One of the racegear/rallygear type retailers should be able to point you in the right direction, given the amount of motorsport you have there

Well there are plenty of retailers the can get Snap off/ Quick release steeringwheel hubs, but none of them can find anything that will fit directly to my car.

as mentioned earlyer in the post when removing the steeringwheel the column will act as a spear, but im not planning to remove it during an accident;)
I want it for easyer access to my bucketseat and also as a anti theft device for when my car is parked out on the street away from my sight...
