Has anyone imported any 1200 parts , or even complete cars from Japan?
Who did you use to purchase the items, and did you have any issues?
I am thinking about trying to find a GX5 coupe and bringing it over.

Hi MKM & welcome to the forum.
There have been many like yourself who have been "thinking about trying to find a GX5 coupe & bringing it over" from Japan & several cars have appeared on Yahoo Auctions in Japan [like eBay] but nobody has had whatever it takes to actually do it yet.
Hopefully you will be the first, ... good luck.

Dodgeman, thanks for the welcome, yes I am new to this forum.
I owned a 1200 coupe about 7 years ago, that I put a bit of work into, A14 oval port with 32/36 weber, extraxtors, Stanza front end and 240K brakes.
To this day I still regret getting rid of that car, as we had some great times together, and I learnt a lot with her.
But anyway, now that I am a couple of Datsun down the line now (Stanza and GTi-R) I would like the old days back.
I guess I will start talking to a few import brokers and start running the numbers.
