I`ve removed the rear axle and i want to dismantle the axle shafts to give it a good clean and paint job, the problem is that one of them is giving me a lot of strugle to pull it out. Is an axle out of an 120y. Any sugestions how to pull out the bastard? maybe i need a special tool!

Yes, the special tool is a slide hammer.
You can do this: Bolt a length of chain to one of the wheel studs. Tie the other end to a sledge hammer, then swing the hammer. It should pop the axle out.
