whats needed to turbo my ute...

im thinking

manifolds
turbo
injectors
computer
fuel reg
efi pump
surge tank
new exhaust
oil feed to turbo ( t peice off the pressure sender unit?? )

what else do i need

im trying to figure wether i should buy on already done for 8 grand or do mine

intercooler, throttle body, all the wiring, different distributer, oil return line to sump, and a few different sensors
all these parts can be purchased cheaply if you know where to look

got a cooler, tb on the manifolds, wiring come with computer, fuel only ecu,

probably be better off trying to get a fuel and spark computer then using ford edis to control the spark

hmm ok.. ive heard that the 13b cas does the trick with a change over of the drive gear..

then i suppose that way ignition timing would be able to be controlled better

wow is 8 Grand a fair price for a complete setup?

I'm costing the setup I'm busy building right now, And I can pull it through with everything brand new, new turbo, new 440cc injectors, new T-Body new intercooler, New ECU...etc,etc well basically 100% new....

all for less than $US5000 effort included.

sorry i didnt get back to you the other night gillie my phones text buttons are fuked. you will also need a lift pump. i would say you might be able to get it for 5 grand in oz for new stuff if your lucky plus tuning.

im going to brissy in a weeks time, the thing is i can drive back a 8000 dollar 1200 ute that has an efi a14 turbo in it...

thats what im thinking about, then just leave mine as a daily
