Did somebody say Panelvan???

Me likey the Panelvan!

Don't junk it. Although I have 3 of them they are all pretty rusty and ultimately only one of mine will get fixed plus one keeper for spare parts.

Actually... Junk it! The last thing I need is another person with a van in competition with me.

No. Don't junk it. What am I saying. I have tried to track down how many of these 120Y vans were imported into Australia and it is nesr impossible to get answers. But there were a few. They are lying in peoples backyards, mainly larger properties all over Australia refusing to die being used as dog kennels.

There was one in Town that belonged to a grounds keeper or someone of one of the churches but it disappeared before I got a chance to find out who exactly

When I was in the thick of the search years ago I was led to many dead ends. Ol mate says, 'theres a panno here, definately a 120Y, it always turned out to be a corolla.

p.s. conehead. Yeah, The blood gets flowing when I hear those sentual words. Panel Van. Even typing the words makes me feel like I've popped a couple of Viagra...

Down Boy. Down. Toyotas, Volkswagons, Leyland P76.... Gone.

Did someone say P76?

Great car, massively underrated and well ahead of their time. {although I still admit they're ugly as f$%&...}
Compare it to the Ford XA/XB, Holden HQ and Valiant VH-VJ of the time ['73-'74] and see for yourself. P76 was the only to have standard disc brake front end, side intrusion bars in the doors, recessed windscreen wipers, crumple zones (which I know for a fact worked...) hell, the bonnet was even purposely made wider than the A pillars so in a crash it'd run up the pillars rather than through the windscreen. And try fitting a 44 gallon drum in the boot of ANY sedan made then or now.
My parents had one for 19 years, V8 4 speed. It'd still be going if they didn't lend it to me a week after I got my licence...
