I am doing the same thing to my 1k. I asume you mean a 1200, so not sure, but for the 1k, its a very difficult exercise cause to roll out the entire guard you have to move out the door to suit it.
I spoke to my panel beater, and he siad he could do it by cutting the guard off, and welding a small strip of steel inbetwee, then shift out the door.
You cant go too far else it moves the lines of the car out of place.
There is room inside the wheel arch to move. There is a panel join that can be cut back to give you space on the inside.
Its a big task either way. When i get to that point, ill post pics, but as everyone knows its a long road to travel.

14x7s fit on my 4 door 1200 by just rolling the guards, and staying with 50 or 55 series tyres.
I gotta say though, that 5.5 or 6 inch wheels are a much better fit, less noise and better handling.

This was with oxy hammer and dolly, I needed more room in the end so I just cut the whole thing off and used a fibreglass flare.

I just remembered that my green 1200 Sedan still has 15x7 inch rims on the back, and they only just fit.
I can only use the smallest profile 205s, so I might go back to 195 on the back, and run a little Japan-spec style.
note: I wouldn't run a 195 type on a 7 inch rim on a daily driven car.
