depends how low you want to go...
I had no problem fitting mine on the wagon or the ute with a 175/50 (13x7's i mean) and the ute is really low and the wagon has quite low.
185/50 isnt a bulbus tyre although it isnt tiny either, i do not forsee any drama with them in the gaurds, or flush with the gaurds.
Most i did was bend the inner lip up on the front and rear so it didnt chop into tyre if it did rub.

They should fit beautifully...

Cheater_5, do you have stiff springs? I would think you'd need them to prevent the tires coming up to hit the edge of the guards.

The 175 on a 6 inch rim will fit. If you are running standard struts a 185 on a 7 inch rim may fit without flaring guards.

I have Stanza struts with a 185 on a 6 inch wide 14 inch superlite and it just sits inside the guard.

well if you lowered it enough for the wheel hitting issue to be a problem then you'd want stiff springs anyhow....
But yes i have 250lb/in fronts
