Fitted new headlights today (H4 Crystal Vision) and also new switch. (Thanks Paul B) but the the headlights still come on with the parkers at the first position. It dosen't really bother me but it may be usefull to use just my parking lights. Again any ideas would be of help.

Did you use the original wiring harness? and is the new switch a direct replacement for the old one?

Yes on all counts. I think I will have a check around the parkers.

check a few earth straps about the place, it never hurts to have more than you need. (I have 6 on my patrol)

Otherwise its get out the test light/multimeter and start checking wires. Perhaps you have a melted wire somewhere? Do the new headlights need to runs relays and heavier guage wiring?

Head lights are running 55/70 H4's at moment so there is no need to fit relays yet but I will be going up to 90/130 and 130 in the spots with 2 x twin New Era 30amp fused HD relays when I do the wire up for the spots. 1 for each side. I have set up lights like that before and have never cooked a switch, I wire in seperate fuse box's and use common netural links as earth points as well as extras at the lights and heaps of 4mm wire!!
