They fall in the half ton class in ZA, which is sales talk for 500kg.

And this is the closest thing I could get to a load rating plate...

yeah 500kg is the recomended weight limit but i've had 600kg of pre-fab concrete steps very bouncey and the steering got a bit light but handled it quite well, i wouldn't go sny more than that though.
