what is the norm. timing.
my a12 is on 10 deg and is running o.k ish and is not burning the fuel properly ( lots coming out the exhaust)
Please Help

normal timing should be set at 7deg btdc. If you have unburnt fuel coming from the exhaust i would start with a set of plugs and points, set the idle speed/mixtures, set ignition timing and dwell angle.

looked on wiki and did the procedure
put a new set of plugs now have 5 deg btdc and did the dizzy gap, and dwell now it runs alot better BUT it has less low rev power than it did b4
