Does anyone have part numbers for the valve guides used on a GX head? I am having trouble finding any info on them.

Would prefer bronze, but at this point anything is better than what I have!

A12 GX head:
Part Number 13212-H0112 (intake), 13213-H2310 (exhaust)

I believe they are the same as the newer guides for regular head, the valves are the same size. Part Number 13212-H0112 (intake), 13213-H0113 (exhaust) About $8 each at Nissan dealer.

They are for unleaded gasoline.

Thanks! I tried the parts houses, but nobody lists the guides. I'll check out the dealership in the morning.

The GX numbers were never listed in USA... but might be available from Nissan Japan.

I've found a supplier online, so if Nissan can't get them then I think I am set. Won't know for sure until later this morning.

I think brass "K Liners" are better (may be a proprietry name but I'd say any good machine shop will know what I'm taking about). Take head to machine shop and they ream out the existing guides and put these liners in. Better heat transfer and brass has self lubricating properties.

Are you talking about a gen-u-ine JDM 1200 or later A12 twin carb GX, or an engine from a US GX model, which was just the standard model single carb engine I believe.

My 1200 book says that only the exhaust guide was different in the JDM 1200 GX engine.
13213- H2310 Guide-Valve, Exhaust. A12 GX
Remember that this is the 1200 engine. Later engines may have a different part number.

Yes, later engines use better valves. A14 has larger valves than A12 GX.

I would use new Nissan valve guides, they are improved.

I believe mine is the performance head offered in the Nismo catalog and not one from an A12GX per se. I do have the twin Hitachi SU's and the big oval ports, etc. so it isn't a regular head.

I've pulled the engine, but I haven't taken the head off yet. Once I do I can snap some pics.

I ordered the bronze guides from a place in Alabama a few days ago. If they are not the correct ones then I'll get them from Nissan.

Here are some pics of the carnage. Busted two valve guides.....#3 & #4 intake.

Also discovered that the previous owner overbored it .75mm.....I think that adds up to about a 1520cc engine now.
