question is how much do i need to mod the tunnel? has anyone done the auto convo on a sedan? my coupe was converted when i bought it so this is all new in a way......

must be a pretty fancy auto if it's quicker than manual in a drag race.........

surely not just an everyday stocko sludge-o-matic

Have you seen a ca18 auto box? It's twice as large and twice as heavy as the 5 speed.

Have you ever heard the whinging and whining on the S13/Silvia websites about how bad the boxes are? You'd never break one, but driving one is as exciting as watching grass grow.

If you were disabled..I'd MAYBE agree. But I would also be recommending a different car that has the space to handle a disabled person.

I meant it solely in a 'maximum fun factor' kind of way. Not saying that 1200 and disabled people don't mix. I'm not that mean. Honest!

i get the feeling that noone has tried this then!!!

me first i guess. it will be a strengthened ca box with high stall and shift mods...i just thought maybe someone had tried this...

btw if autos were no good for drag racing then why do so many drag racers use em?? the 5 speed just won't handle the horsepower i want to have...over 380 at the treads for the strip

i will just have to keep everyone (who cares) posted on how it goes....

oh i didn't get offended by the disabled comment....sometimes different is good and sometimes people can't understand it...

i have been against self shifters for years...until i owned a XR6 turbo with the auto. lazyness can be fun too
