I dont think they are any harder to tune than any other carb. An understanding on how weber's work will be the big advantage. Personnaly I think 45's on a street A15 is an overkill. 40's would be better suited or even a single sidedraught.
Saying that however, it is a black art to extract every last bit of power out of an engine on a pair of twins.

well its for my play around weekend car so i would like it to have a fair amount of power (its fun seeing the face of the people in the doof doof cars when i go speeding past them off the line
but i guess what im trying to ask is that if you have one carbie and it gets slightly out, its not that notacable, but with two and they get slightly out does it make that much of a difference?
thanks for the quick response

If you buying weber's and ther not tuned for your size motor then the first tune witch includes jet's and venturies and what not then it's quite expensive. But once tuned correctly probly once a year would surfice on a road car..

Seems to be a common misconception that sidedrafts somehow go out of tune over time.
Once they're set up properly (Dyno to ensure correct jets etc) there's not much to go out of tune unless the idle mixture or balance is fiddled with or engine spec is changed.
A Dyno is not necessary to re-set idle mixture and balance - just need someone who knows what they're doing.

That's right. They are tuned the same way the stock Hitachi is: with jet changes and adjustment screws.
So - Yes it is difficult - No, not any more difficult than any other carburetor
Synchronizing twin carbs gives an additional step -- but this is needed wether it is factory Twin hitachis, Twin Webers or any other brand of duals...
