You can get the Rubbers for a Fairlady, look similar, cant say whether it is exactly the same or not, get them on ebay.

This is one ugly area of the vb10 that I hoped to modify as it spoils their beautiful lines.
You have to understand it was a budget car so some things where skimped on but we have the chance to change this but still remain true to it lines.

Make sure you get the 2 inch version from the Aston or Healey.

yeh i was going to modify it but i thought i might keep it if i was to use the aston or healey type where would i mount it?

get the rubber area welded up with metal and the rest is a sinch.

I was pulling apart the boss's mini(again) the other day and the fuel tank rubber in the same spot is of a simmiler design, but its completely round like the fairlady one, ill have to measure it up for you. And being off a mini you'll be abale to buy a new one easy as!

Scotts Old Auto Rubber is a good site to have a look around as they have all sorts of things, including gromets for fuel fillers.

There was a factory accessory locking fuel cap for the Van too. It was not listed for any other model as everything else had a fuel cap behind a locking door, but of course it will fit all other models.

This is the Fairlady one it locks like the original wagon one. Actually looks like the same part, and you can still get them.

d,man early utes didnt have a door for the fuel filler well atleast none of the ute i have seen i think the 69 models had the door but any earlier didnt
and im going to use the original locking cap so im still after a rubber guys
