hey guys just wondering if anyone can help me out . does anyone know if u can still buy 1200 coupe tail lights from japan or is the only option to get them rechromed. if so is the only place to get plastic chroming done the bronzing studio. any info would be appreciated

Never seen new ones for sale, or even reproduction copies.

You can still find some in reasonable condition, but as you say the chrome tends to go off. Mine are quite dull and looked into it and the only place I found was bronzing studio.

Keep your eye out out on ebay motors. Iv seen about 3 sets in the past year for sale all brand new. Not cheap as you would expect.

thanx guys . its $280 each to get them re-chromed which is ok but then they wont have the blacked out parts in the centre . maybe with my colour im beta off just having complete chrome without the black anyway . cheers ill keep lookin around for a bit longer

Fark - $280.00 each, their price certainly has gone up over 5 years.

I just carefully rubbed back the painted section in the middle of mine, masked it up and re-painted them in flat black.

They look damm good, except to chrome on the top edge is dull. Maybe waiting for a set on ebay motors is not such a bad idea

Yes they are about $200 on eBay for new ones. They are for sale often, be sure to check the 'worldwide' search box.

i have a 120y coupe. it is a real sh1t heap ha ha but just about the only good thing on it is the tail lights. if you want a picture or two please tell me.

thanx guys . will keep an eye out but im thinking unless i can find brand new i will just have to pay the dollars for the rechromed ones cause i am going to be pretty picky for these i think . thanx again
