Looking good.

What have you done for the drive pulley and belt?

toyota S/C12.
Does your car have air con? Looks like your blower drive is pigging backing off the aircon pulley.
With a bigger carb, and more blower drive it'l be awesome! Supercharging ROCKS!

Hey guys, thanks for the response. Yea, the SC12 charger piggibacking on the air cond compressor.

The Pulley is a bit large now.... I think its of the Proton Wira aircond compressor or somethin like that. I just went to an aircond shop and hunted for one that would bolt on. Im having trouble looking for a smaller one...Any suggestions.

I just like the look on ppl when they c the charger...

PLanning to change to a diff carb. I still have problems getting the fueling right. Theres a slight flat spot mid way through the throttle, then it takes off. 3 psi does wonders . Wonder how it will go with 8 psi.

Hey A14force. Love your set up. You have a SC14 right. Did you need to do any timing adjustments. Mines currently all the stock settings.

I now have a problem thats bugging the hell out of me. I seem to be getting exhaust fumes coming into the cabin everytime I push the car. The ehxaust system is new, and reinspected for leaks. I also get a kind of clattering sound when im accelerating, kind of like piston knocking, but its not piston nocking, and the sound goes off when cruising.

The fumes only appear when driving. If I rev it when standstill, no smell. Mostly happens when the engines loaded.

Leaky exhaust gasket maybe?

Sounds like blowby. Open your oil cap, ans see it there's excessive fumes in your crankcsase.
I'd stick a bigger carb on before driving the blower any faster. A mate of mine tried a standard carb on his blown mazda with an S/C12, and the boost decreased!
My timing is pretty much standard ATM, but I don't run vac advance.

Hi A14force. Thanks for the reply, ill try the car out later and have a look into the crankcase. Im thinking its the same thing. But Im wondering if the clanking sounds related to the smell. Does the fumes happen to you as well. The thing is i get the fumes with the SC on or off.

Will check it up anyway. Thanks

Yeah mate, my engine has insane blowby. I think it either has broken rings or cracked ring lands. My old blown motor had cracked ring lands when I pulled it down. I'll rebuild it again, (one day) but I'm going to fry the pistons big time before I do that.
