Watching top gear last night and i was surprised to hear the richard hammonds worst ever car is a nissan sunny? must've been a later model or the overseas model, but anyway he felt the need to torch it with a jet dragster! did anyone else see it? what is everyone thoughts on that?

To suggest that the B310 Sunny is the 'worst ever' car in a land full of British cars proves that he's on drugs.

looked like a blue bird

and was a boreing car

looked like it was built to be cheap reliable but had no shape just boring allover i thought was a good choise

i was horrified that the whingy pom (no offense meant to any of our British members) called it an ABOMINATION. Has the man no sense..obviously not. It wasnt the best looking car..vbut still didnt need to be torched.

Saw it, laughed me guts up....which was unavoidable when you have the flu. It was topped off with the destruction of a caravan - even better!

Mind you, the sunny they chose was, in the words of hammond, 'bland'. Perfect victim to suit the purposes of a car show which is about middle aged men arguing and trading insults....and cars.

Come forward a couple of years and the tune was changed when the 120y out performed the british cars, that was golden....'damn the Japanese reliability!'

sounds like some residual loss of function from his head injury rolling it 20 times at about 500kmh. Sunnys are ok, definitely no lemon.

I love Clarkson's descriptions of driving fast cars, but when your family car is a 1986 Pajero and your watching some rich wanker on TV destroying a car that is better than yours and you would gladly drive if you had the chance it can leave a bit of a bitter taste in your mouth.
